Drug Test

Employers institute a drug check as a part of the employment screening process to detect the presence of specific drugs and determine prior drug use. Drug tests are hence performed to detect illicit drug use as well as the use of drugs and substances not permitted in specific occupations or at the workplace in general. The detection windows depend upon multiple factors: drug class, amount and frequency of use, metabolic rate, body mass, age, overall health, and urine pH.
